Reintroducing animals to the habitats where they once roamed seems the least we can do to make up for our decimation of them. I only get discouraged by the fact that we reintroduce in some places like the Tetons and Yellowstone only to now be killing them off again. It is so disheartening and frustrating. The F&G-sanctioned killing of gray wolves in my home state of Idaho makes me feel embarrassed even to admit I grew up in that state (save for some grade school years in Albuquerque).
